Crawl Speed turned to 'High'

    For the first time ever i've been able to turn up my Crawl Speed in Webmaster Tools to High. Most of the URLs in the sitemap are on my forum, and the system obviously realises that crawling at normal rate is never going to get the job done. I have about 3,800 URLs in my site map and it's done 329 so far. The high setting will remain for 90 days before returning to Normal sometime in September.

    Sure will. I've seen a couple of GoogleBots in the traffic logs today, but nothing drastic yet. Saying that, the crawl rate graph had just about dropped to zero, so refreshing what is indexed will help because i've also changed my forum pages to include the topic titles in the page titles. The site should be found more often as post title appears directly in the link text.
