Over the last few months, Google Bot has been hitting my site at least 150,000 times a month according to my cpanel stats. But this month, its only at about 10,000 so far. What could cause this? My site is geek4ums.com

Frod, Google automatically switches crawl rate every 3 months. If you were on "Faster", you are now reset to "Normal". It happened to me as well. However it was clearly mentioned in the last update in webmaster tool that your crawl rate will be set to normal on July 15 2007. Terabite, i was telling you the same thing/Hint that 15th july date was already provided by google to tell us the backlinks update will be done on this. I wonder how many ppl caught it. No wonder my prediction was on target
i agree...my crawl rate has dropped dramatically...not sure what happened...it still crawls but not that much.
my crawl rate also slowed but I figured it was because I was using a sitemap and submiting that every few days.
