    I was wondering on Craigslist - which cities have the most traffic? any reputable sources for this info?

    Alexa is by far the best source I fouind when I had this question! If you go to this link here http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/craigslist.org and look toward the middle it will say "Where Visitors Go on Craigslist.org"?

    It will then break down the percentages of traffic that go to each city! Click the more tab to see more! I hope this helps! :)))) God Bless!

    I would imagine the greater the metropolitan population, the more people search listings there. So if you research population numbers, that could be a start...

    Yep - traffic and population are typically in direct correlation.

    One thing you need to think about though is the _quality_ of traffic, i.e. while a big industrial city may have more traffic than a business centre, it typically makes sense to target your ads to the latter simply because there's far more purchasing power.
