So you’ve finally placed your ad and now you’re just ready to have a nice cold beer, and try to relax and wait for the calls of customers to come in? This doesn't stop here unless you’re advertising “erotic services” to give that idea up. Now is the time to keep on top of things. After you spend couple of minutes after you place your ad, keeping your name at the forefront will give you a great amount of leverage when it comes to your ads.

Although, it can be a violation of CraigsList rules to post the same thing more than once in a 48 hour period. So if you want to be competitive, what you should do then is to simply change what your ad copy says and post the new ad, and deleting the old one. What pays still is to have that good information coming in so that people can make sure that you're worth trusting.

How long have you been posting for? Geo-location is not a myth, but it may take a few weeks or months before CL soft blocks your account (requiring you to phone verify your account) and eventually, they will block your IP.

 

This thread has been great to get me some more tips on CL. Posts about other Freead sites would be good also

 

if you don't use affiliate links and use your own URL you shouldn't get flagged

Thanks for the tips. I use cragslist often but didnt get much success.. Its hard to get your post up there for a long time
