Craigslist Posting ?

When I try to post in some of the categories, it ask for phone verification.So can anyone help me ?

 

Nope, thats their new way of keeping spammers down.

 

Ya, they are cutting down a lot, or just making it harder to post. However, I'm ok with that as lots of scam artists were using it to send fake cashiers checks.
I was a potential victim myself before I figured it out.

 

Damn that phone verification, gets me every once in while. Try reseting your IP works for me.

 

I think it is a good thing because it reduces spam posting.

Yeah, you need some PVA to post there.

 

It reduces the amount of spam, many marketers have gone way too far and flooded the boards with spam topics. As a result it kind of ruined it for legitimate marketers.

 

What is this PVA ?

 

I know they require phone verifications now. I don't know what the "A" stands for though.

 

I dont think there is problem with that. The reason for the verification is ok.

 

It just helps to prevent spam..something they started awhile back

 

For craigslist, Phone verifs seem good.. If not, there site is so big, its just a matter of time before it becomes over-run with junk... Hopefully they maintain the balance, for such a super large website, they do a great job..They have hard shoes to fill..

So if I am sending 10 ads a day with 2 differnet ads is it ok to get phone verified? I have run into this problem as well.

 

Majority PVM is need in US. other countries seems no need.

 

I don't understand, I think that's great it will keep a majority of the crap from getting on there.
