I agree, quite difficult to remember indeed. maybe it means something else in another language...like "bargain"
Craigslist is useless in my area. They don't list my town specifically, just the general area. I don't think anybody uses it, so the only ads that show up are the spam. I don't expect the new site to be any better. I have an ad on craigslist for my business and I have not received one single inquiry about it.
Given as I have a beef against ebay I can't really say I use kijiji unless I want to use it to make me money. I agree that the domain sucks, but in all seriousness, I think it will in the next couple of years become more popular than Craigslist. I believe it already is here in Canada.
I've been posting to Kijiji for a few weeks now and so far its been fair compared with CL. I like some of the features better, but both sites do not have all the features needed. you can post a link in the ad, but its not hyperlinked, just a uri. here's their policy ---------------------- Posting a listing with a link to another web site for the sole purpose of directing visitors to that web site is not permitted. You may, however, include a link in your post if it is to give the user more information about the item being offered (for example product details, pictures, etc.). ---------------------- with Ebay's marketing power and if done properly, they could pass CL within 12 months
its about time " now we need a good soft ware for the listing" hey they dony allow live links thats not good. craigs list is very powerful for this inclusion
