I have some ads running on craigslist they get very little traffic how would i find out which cities have the best traffic or most.
I don't think there is any way to find out. What I would recommend is posting in each of the major US cities (Chicago, NY, LA, Miami, etc.) and see what kind of response you get. You know, don't bother with like Fayetteville, AR because there is probably no market for anything there. If you don't get a good response, post in a different section. Also are you checking to make sure that your ads aren't getting flagged/removed? CL is basically trial and error, unless you have resources and time to post thousands of ads every day and just work the numbers...Which btw I don't condone...
Does anyone know why some of my ads expire in 7 days and others in 45 days. Basically the same ad in different cities. Can you still repost the same ad after 3 days or do I have the wrong site? donrock
Check the city traffic by using Alexa. Different cities and different categories have different expiring times. Depending on your headline and the category will reflect the amount of traffic.
San Fransisco, New York and Los Angeles are popular on Craigslist. If you post any ad to one of them, your ad will get buried quickly.... So make sure put title that attract attention of visitors.
