I have posten a few ads on craiglist. And after 15 mintus it still isnt in the lists of my catagory. I really dont know what this is. the srange thing is they arent flagged or something like because when i go to edid article is is coloured green meens its online. But I dont get any traffic. Ans dont see my add is listed help what is this because this is with all my ads thanks
If you are posting in a very busy city your ad can be on page 2 or 3 in 20 mins or so, and of course you would see no traffic. I only post in cities that will display my ad for 30 days. I stay on the front page for a day or 2 and then my ads are picked up by google in about 2 weeks.
They may have banned that url. Your free to Post free classified ads here they are approved instantly Company Advertising Classifieds
When you post the same url in multiple cities they blacklist that url. I don't post there anymore because they play games like that!
Did you use the same email address for the confirmation? That and duplicate IP addresses are the other filters for finding duplicate postings. Good luck

It's pretty cool that Craig Newmark himself visits these forums and interacts with people. Goes to show you that networking and helping others can take you a long way.
Some one has you guys going. They should be glad that they didn't get banned for mutiple accounts! If that where craig it's pretty stupid to make one post and leave. You know not say thank you for your comments or anything. I don't think the real craig would do something like that, he would thank us for using his site or something.
Why would craig himself be banned for multiple accounts? I am sure he only needs one! It would be even more stupid for somebody to use craigs handle as an Internet alias name. Not a very wise move that would be, considering craigslist is the 2nd or 3rd most visited site on the Internet.. You obviously do not know anything about craig or his style.. I spent a few years on CL discussion forums, even before I joined this forum. And that is craig's style to a tee.. craig is a great guy with a big heart and helps where and when he has the time.. If you didn't know, He makes posts on his own boards the same exact way.. He is a busy man and also owns and maintains blogs and does lots of community and press type releases about CL and in general.. He probably does not have time to go back to follow up on every post he makes.. Thats just it, you don't think.. (LOL) just kidding.. but the real craig would do something just like that and does do things just like that.. In fact I'd be willing to place a small wager on whether or not the real craig made that post.. How about a wager of one link in signature for one year. Thats a decent wager.. Any takers?
