CraigsList shut down it's adult section in response to pressure from seventeen state attorney generals. I am sick and tired of government busybodies telling ordinary Americans what to do, say, and think. What I think and what I am saying is that perhaps part of the solution is a lot of newly unemployed bureaucrats. This was one of the few paying sections of CraigsList, which may force CL to implement fees on other sections of their site. I'm sure the current 9.6% unemployment rate is already hurting CL revenue in the job listing sections. Perhaps CraigsList should consider moving the company overseas, to a country which has more respect for free speech. The Netherlands comes to mind. What do you think?
