cracked programs

hello everybody,

I crack programs for fun these days, and i was thinking about making a site where i would post links to these programs that are hosted at rapidshare or media fire etc.

is there any way that i could get any problem doing this?

 

Of course you can. Posting the cracked programs on another host doesn't absolve you of anything - and just linking is contributory infringement.

Get an offshore server, cool domain and put whois protection to it.

 

Of course that won't keep you from being sued.

 

if you are in US, dont go for it.Else no troubles.protect your domain and move to an offshore.what you get atleast is a DMCA

 

If your not doing it for profit: Just torrent it/upload to p2p/ - people can dot he rest.

If your doing it for profit: Attach zango to the product and do the above.

 

Is it really worth the risk? I'm sure you'd hate to end up in jail over something like this.

 

You'd probably end up being shut down in the US.

 

If you are in the Untited States, you will stand the risk of being shut down and mabey even arrested. I would not do it. However if you get a Jolly from cracking, join one of the (I assume hundreds) of underground forums that do this.

There is a way, get inside a private network over the internet where many people participates in. Your IP in there is something like 8.x.x.x! With this it's hard to do something against you (still possible to locate you but it's very very hard to do it).

 

I wouldn't say its worth the risk, as some of these big companies have swarms of lawyers ready for a guy like you who sells the cracked programs.
