CPX Mass Deactivation of Publishers??

I have recenely heard that CPX Interactive recently went through a "mass de-activation" of publishers on the DMX (Direct Media Exchange network of networks, recently acquired by Yahoo).

This looks like it is part of a push by CPX to "weed out" certain publishers - though unclear right now what based upon? To increase their publisher quality.

What I don't have any information on - has this affected CPX publishers who used CPX ad code directly, rather than through the DMX?

Does anybody know what the criteria are CPX is using to sort through and decide which Publishers to re-activate? Has anyone gone through this?

CPX requires you to have 30,000 uniques a month..

Since this mass deactivation i've been getting great CPM rates. Definately a good move on there part.

I am way WAAYY above 30,000 uniques per month... does not seem to have anything to do with that. Hmmm... guess nobody knows. I'll report back if I hear anything concrete.

My account was also deactivated, actually I was not using it since long time, may be that was the reason.
