From past 3 days, my server load is around 2 but it sometimes gets boosted to 30-40

The cPanel works very slow in that case.

How can I fox that and How do I know that is this DDoS attack or any script??

    Please help.

Well, you have proxy hosting in your signature... you should expect that load quite frequently.

Or it can also mean that spam is being sent from your box. Double check with your host.

Well...Its normal now. That was due to a client running a script usng lots of resources and also of brute forces attack for ssh port..
