CPM whats it mean?

    I have done advertising and marketing for a long time But still the CPM confuses me as it seems different for every place I visit.
    To me it is cost per million. However It seems to be 1,000 impressions.
    So here is my question

    Is tribal fusion rate card does this mean for ever 1,000 pop under for investing I will make $13 or is it after 1,000,000 pop under *which sounds ridiculous lol

    Should it not be CPT ? Cost per thousand?

    CPM is Cost per mille.
    Mille means Thousand in Latin.

    Cost per thousand, not per million as mentioned above.

    Banner ad rates are often $x CPM, meaning that you pay $x for a thousand banner displays.
