CPM question about Adtoll/adbrite/adengage

I am wondering if these companies pay CPM even if no one buys a ad on a site so all the ads running on that sites are generic "Advertise here"
    Does anyone know?

No, but, with AdToll, if someone clicks through and joins they become your affiliate, which means you get commissions of their sales/earnings.

Yes, thanks for the repy Pauliie but it also means that publisher ends up running ads for adtoll for free if no one ever buys ads.

Can anyone confirm that adengage/adbrite too have same model?

Not unlike any other CPA system. A lot of programs don't even offer you the affiliate link in the default ad.

Thanks but adengage is NOT cpc. One can buy CPM ads. When it comes to publishers, I am not sure if Adengage or adbrite pay anything at all till someone buys an ad at that site
This is true with adtoll too, someone has to buy an ad before you make any money as a publisher.
There is probbably a miniscule cpm payment made if your site is included in RON ads, perhaps less than 1 cent per CPM
I am surprised no one has a clear answer on this

I have given you a clear answer.

AdToll also distribute run of network ads, which are CPC.

May I ask how you expect to receive a commission if no advertiser is interested in purchasing an ad on your site? This is why RON ads are used.

With RON you get paid. With the "Your Ad Here" thing, you don't.
    It's that easy.

What is RON? I used to get about 5-10 cents CPM but lately it dropped me down to 0.01 CPM and my full page ads are not only .58 CPM when they used to be around $2.55. Is it the economy or is just CPM really really dead.

    Thanks
