CPM is 0.04$ :(

The CTR is 0.16% so I need to improve my ad-placement on my pretty-myspace-layout site(Check my sig). Any suggestions?

 

I didn't know you could put Google ads on your Myspace page. Let me go and do that right now!

 

try using 336x280 ads near images with borders.

 

You may want to try using a small text banner instead of the horizontal links unit, and placing some space between the 'Home/Support Us' bar and the text banner. As it is now, I think your visitors' eyes probably scan right past the horizontal links to 'Summer Style' - a bit of space may lead them to your ads more naturally.

I would suggest that you put the google links as (160x90) link block with 5 links below "Links" in your menu. Should perform better there then in your current placement.

A Large rectangle blended in nicely above "Special Character Symbols" could do you good as well.

Maybe above "Summer style" a large rectangle as well.

Don´t put ads to low on your pages cause 90 percent of all viewers pay less and less attention the further text goes.

i don't even have CPM much

 

cpm is nothing to worry about....

it's number of impresions divided by earnings or something... so that means increasing number of impressions and less earnings will give you a higher CPM

 

I thought it was Cost Per Impression

 

Your site looks very plane.
The best ad placement would be a LargeRectangle with images on top just header will get you good results.
Let me know what happense to yout CPM and CTR if you implement my sugg.

I believe CPM is 'cost per thousand impressions' - with 'M' being the roman numeral for '1000'.

I dint get a chance to read all replies but I would suggest you to blend the ad's background color to that of your website's.
