    hi ,
i got a doubt on cpm ads. if i am showing 3 cpm banners from the same company (like google) on the same page. if there are 1000 page impressions with cpm @ $2. how are my earnings calculated . is it $2 only or $2 * 3 = $6 .

It is complicated. I don't know either. But if the convertion rate is low and the cpc price will be low. We should make money by cpc clicks and the cpm is not major income. This is my understanding of cpc cpm relation.

like imagin that u have 1000 page impressions per day. if u use 3 cpm banners u will get 3000 impressions simple as that.
notice that the ecpm depends a lot on the CTR/Ad Impressions.
If you are searching good cpm ad networks check out my signature ;)
    hope it helps you

p.batista89 - please don't post if You don't know how most CPM companies work.

Let's start from simple fact. CPM = Cost per Mille ( Mille from latin means tousand ), but most CPM companies offers CPM per UNIQUE IP. That means it only counts once per user daily. 3 ads viewed by THE SAME 1000 users won't get You 6$, but only 2$ (I'm calculating with the prices You gave) and ONLY first time they saw it. That's why best method of earning through CPM companies is to have a ad rotator - let the user see only one ad per page, but every page the ad should rotated to maximize Your income. The rest of the space fill with Google Adsense or some CPA affiliates.

tooschee, i'm taking in exemple the big cpm ad networks like adbrite and chitika, they pay per each impression (in those 2 cases when there are no cpc ads to show). And i don't know but i think also big companys like cpx, valuemedia click also pay for every impression.
    Cheers!

I totally agree, but there is one exception. Few networks pay for 1000 page views. Adversal pays for 5 or 6 page views from same user in 24hours time cycle.

It's not every unique impression, it's every impression. If you're looking for a good one and don't have enough traffic to get into any of the big guys, run with CPX... they will make it so your inventory will always be filled and optimized.
