CPM dropped; looking for other options

Hi Everyone,

We are getting an average CPM of $3.5 - $4 for past one month on our web site. The site is about general topics and has a wide audience.

Most of the visitors are from US, but our earning per thousand impressions is too low.

Anyone having idea of how much Kontera / Adsonar is paying on an average ?

I wouldn't change adsense for kontera, never in a lifetime.
Maybe put both together but don't remove adsense.

 

What about the CTR? It seems the CPC is very less. Write some interesting articles on high paying niche and since you have a good traffic, you have more chances to earn for the better.

 

Just use both Adsense and Kontera, you don't have to choose between them

 

We will be using kontera in additional to Adsense.

I was asking if there is something good than kontera as well. Last time we tried, they were also offering something around $3 in terms of earnings per thousand impressions.

We were thinking of using Intellitext, but not sure how good they perform.

Thats a good idea, just make sure the Kontera ads don't look similar to adsense ads.
