CPM as traffic increases

Does CPM stay the same as traffic goes up, or does it go up or down?

Curious if anyone has noticed a trend, eg if you get $2 CPM at 25,000 impressions a day, is it still the same at 50,000 impressions a day?

 

Well, if you send more traffic, the paying go up.

Think of it as a bonus for doing a great job.

I'm wondering if I double my traffic will the income double too, or will it be more or less than double?

 

I think CPM is based on niche, CTR, CPC, ad placement and some other but not by Traffic.

 

So I guess noone has had a large enough traffic increase to track this sort of thing ...

 

From my experience the more traffic you get the lower your CPM will become.
Everything seems to drop as you get more traffic true your income will increase
but it will increase disproportionately. Other words doubling your traffic will not
double your income. Tripling your traffic will not triple your income...sad but
true.

 

Diminishing returns for added traffic, so one should, after plateauing, add new sites. Correct?

 

Hi, I think they have got mixed up with CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) and CTR. Your website content must be good and keywords must match your content for adsense to work for you. An example of keywords and costing can be found at highpaidkeywords.moonfruit.com You CAN achieve these payments but please concentrate on your CTR and not as much on keywords itself.
