Ok, I still don't have a google AdSense account (cause I still don't have my own site), but I've read alot about it and I have some questions: Do you get to decide what TYPE (by type I mean CPM or CPC) of ads are displayed on your page? Or is it completely random? (because if you can choose CPM you could build a site thats soley based on the traffic and not have to make fancy "Maps" as to where the best place to put an advertisement is). The thing is, I want my site to be about humor (but not as retarded as those cheez burger sites -.-), and I know thats not a really good Niche, because if people come to look at a funny picture I doubt they'll want to hear about googles "Internet Marketing"... And of-course the final question: What would you recommend? CPC or CPM?
cpm pays low... good when u hav high traffic.. cpc pays good .. u ll earn more if u hav high traffic ...
The thing is, my "Niche" is going to be "Humor"...not some sort of Medical or Finance related site (I'm going with the peoples advice from around here and doing what I like best), and I have a hard time imagining any good paying CPC adds coming up on a site that supplies amusing pictures...so I was building on CPM (if the site becomes a well-known one). And again: Can I decide if I want CPM adds to appear on my site? or wil google AdSense decide at random if they're going to put up a CPM or a CPC ad on my page?
