My questions: Is there a way to determine what niche receives what rates? I know some niche's make more than others, but I was wondering if there's any "master list" to see how different niche's compare to eachother. Anyway, after reading up about CPM and CPC I realized how low the rates actually are. For an average website, 100.000 view a month would only make you 300-400 despite the fact that 100 thousand seems like such a huge number for me. Does anyone actually make a living off the CPM and CPC advertising rates? What are the best ways to compliment the cpm and cpc based income from your website? How much do you make off of your rates a month? Doing some quick math it would seem you would need about 500.000 (FIVE-HUNDRED-THOUSAND) visitors a month to make a basic living off advertising. (btw, does it matter whether it is uniques or repeats visiting your site?) That number just seems impossible to me considering probably only the top 10.000 websites out there pull those figures in. So how can you diversify your revenue so it doesn't all rely on those dismal rates? I've only began learning the basics of being a webmaster and everything that entail in the past few weeks so be easy on me if I ask "dumb" question.
