well, correct me if I am wrong, but few months back I read the news that Google will start CPM as well, for selected publishers! Is anyone here has that privilege?
It's available to all AdWords advertisers: http://services.google.com/ads_inquiry/sitetarget?hl=en_US
Yes, It is available if you start a website targeted campaign. For example you want to set such campaigns. Then you select a keyword or keywords for your website. Let's say "webmaster" since you are going to advertise a webmaster-oriented website. Then Google gives you a list of website accepting CPM (of course, they're mostly webmaster websites, even if there are some that are not). You are able to see the page your ad will show by clicking on publisher website url. It's a nice service. Anyway a bit expensive since you have to pay at least $2 CPM. I definitely prefer CPC since it will drive results. No wonder CPM campaigns have not so much success through Google.
