CPM ads

    Hi,

    I'll run CPM ads soon from ValueClickMedia, but I have a question about CPM.
    How are the impressions actually counted?

    My website gets about 50,000 pageviews per day. Does this mean that when an ads' CPM = $1 I get $50? Or is an impression for unique visitors only and not all pageviews?

    Thanks!

    I think you should take a look at their agreement, which country that they count as traffic, some CPM company didnt accept traffic from asia or outside US,CA or other Europe country.

    Anyone knows some CPM adnetworks where they allow international traffic?
    I haven't found some decent ones yet.

    I already know:
    * ValueClick media
    * CPX
    * Burst

    It would be based on ad impressions, not pages... So if you had two ads per page, you would theoretically double your estimate.

    But, they do set limits. X impressions would be served to a unique IP before the code switch to the default code you create. You'll wind up needing to chain your ad networks together from best to worst rates in order to optimize.

    I don't know all the terms of the ad networks, but some other big ones to check out would include Tribal Fusion and ADSDAQ.

    Unfortunately the Site requirements are a bit too high for Tribal Fusion (A minimum of 5,000 unique users per day) and I signed up at Adsdaq, but haven't heard from them yet. I hope my sites get approved by at least one of those CPM networks ...

    They would remove a lot of duplicate clicks or not count international traffic
