CPM (Adbrite) - Does ad placement matter?

I know this may be a stupid question, since CPM is "cost per impression", but does ad placement matter on CPM ads?

I've only ever used CPC (Adsense), but I'm thinking about signing up for Adbrite. Whats stopping me from just throwing some ads way at the bottom of the page where no one will see them anyway?

It just doesn't make much sense to me. Please let me know, thanks!

 

The ad placement doesn't really matter for cpm, but the more clicks the ad gets the higher the cpm is.

With cpm you just get paid for displaying the ads on your site.

awesome. I guess Ill go with adbrite since i hear they are the best, maybe adsdaq and then default to adbrite or adsense.

What are your thoughts for a music-streaming site with about 1000 visitors / 3000 page views a day?

AdBrite is not very good for cpm ad network, since they are currently in economy crisis. Their earnings dropped really bad for the past few months.

AdsDaq is a very good cpm ad network, but not sire they are going to accept your site since it's a streaming music site.

My recommendations to you would be Snoork Ads for cpm, they pay you pretty good for cpm, you can use my referral link in signature.

Also Cpx Interactive is pretty good, not that good thought, just alright.
