cpLinks setup problems, anyone here used this?

    Hello folks,

I searched google for cpLinks forums or help, to which there is nothing, but I found a thread here in which some of you seemed quite wise with the cpLinks setup.

Im having no end of problems with setting it up. It works to an extent, but when I go to build the directory I get a plethora of errors and warnings.

I have a sneaky suspicion it is something to do with the "The absolute path to my links directory". It defaults to "public_html" and refers to "Apache servers" for this setup, I use a windows server (for my sins, im sorry, so sorry) and within the root directory the cpLinks files reside in a file called 'links'. Does this sound like the root of my problems (no pun intended)!?

Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Leroy

I had a cplinks directory about a year ago, before I scratched it. It was definately not user friendly, even after I had it all set up and working. I didn't like how I was so limited to what I can do. I would suggest going with phpld instead.

Hi! I am trying to set up a CPLinks directory too - I have it all ready to go but I cannot figure out if there is a recip link checker mod for it or if there is a way to use another kind of link checker. I am really baffled by it. I wrote to the Contact Us at CPLinks, but have not heard back about it in more than a week, so I am wondering if anyone out there using it has some advice.

    Thanks!
