CPC Way down after making channels targetable

So late last night I decided to make my channels targetable on my largest blog because I had heard it would drive up cpc. Well, as of today my cpc is about half of what it's been the entire month. Do you guys know if this is a temporary drop? I hope I didn't just cut my earnings in half by making one simple change to my ads in an effort to increase cpc.

Hmm this is why I haven't rushed into making my channels targetable yet, I suppose it could be a temporary lull, you'll just have to give it some time in order to make an informed decision, I'll keep my eye on this on though for your results if you do decide to 'stick it out'...

So the day closed out yesterday with my highest paying channels at less than half the cpc they were before making the change. It's still early today, but I like what I'm seeing so far. My highest paying channel is almost back to where it was before making the channels targetable, and another channel which is typically pretty low performer is double what it usually is. Of course these are short term observations, and not enough data to form firm opinions on, but it's looking like this might be a good thing.

Well it's down again all day today. It's actually down by 75%! I'm getting kind of nervous.
