    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

CPC vs. CPM Pros/Cons..Is one simply better?

    Hey every one,

First off, I am a publisher not an advertiser. I can not decide which form of advertising I should use to monetize my site, CPC or CPM.

I never used advertising on my previous sites, but I am launching a new shopping comparison site and can not decide on which I should use.

What are the benefits of CPC and what kind of websites is it best for?

Thanks a lot for the help!

Google Adsense uses CPC and CPM. I'd only recommend Adsense as a secondary income though. Check out the Thirty Day Challenge for more information.

    depends ...

if a nice share of your visitors tend to click the ads then better go with adsense

if you are pretty sure, they dont look at the ads at all go with cpm

or combine both. place adsense so, that it gets good clicks, best use the 125x125 one...
