Is the average cost per click for advertisers calculated for the keyword "computer" here: https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox?save=save&keywords=computer "computer" which shows as $2.44 average CPC relate to how much the publisher gets as earnings per click? I read somewhere that it is near 50 percent, but that seems way, way high
Not sure anyone knows, I seem to recall reading something a few months ago that publishers got something like 75% of the revenue of a click from Adsense, which seems pretty high to me but may be true. I have a computer related site and it often gets $2 or $3 dollar clicks, so I would guess the percentage to publishers is pretty high.
I think it would be quite high too, all google needs is a small amount of this revenue and that's how they make billions
I'v read that they do take 75% of that average CPC. So you will mostly like get 25% of what the average CPC for that keyword.
