    Hi there,

    my website http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk used to make a reasonable CPC rate.

    Typically ads get 80-100 clicks per day. Back in November I was getting around 25-30p per click, now I'm getting 5p per click.

    Any advice on how I can change this? I've made absolutely no alterations between November and now.

    Your earning per click are determined in part by what an advertiser pays for the ad. The advertiser will pay more for an ad if they are making more money from the ad. Something you can do to help is to make sure your content is highly targeted to and inline with the advertisers customer demographic.

    October, November and December are high earning months for most businesses because of the holidays. It's normal for a lot of businesses to see reduced earnings in January.

    Remove low paying advertisers from displaying their adverts on your website, try to target higher CPC keywords, apart from that there isn't really much you can do.

    Search highly targeted words using google keywords Tool, but for a Forum you can not define what a user can write in his/her post. So you are required to start a new category with the same word.

    Adsense cost per click depends on numerous factors like:

    advertisers rate;
    your website niche

    You cannot do much to change the CPC.

    Yeah,

    It's just a bit frustrating I've seen a 60-70% drop in revenue without changing anything. I'm getting more clicks than ever just now, but significantly less money.

    I expect to see a drop in January, just not as much as I have.
