CPC in Chitika

same here, $0.11 sucks for a tech site. Any suggestions for an alternative (not adsense)?

 

I'm in the automotive industry and I'm seeing CPC's between .08 and .15, with spikes that appear to go up during the weekends. This is obviously lower than the big CPCs I'm seeing from Adsense, but it is great to get the added few dollars per day bonus.

Also, keep in mind, Chitika does not market itself to be an Adsense replacement, rather a compliment to Adsense. Furthermore, while CPCs may be lower with Chitika, usually the CTR is much higher.

 

I think it is not so bad at all, regularly above $0.1 which I consider to be the minimum limit to be happy for a click.

0.30 is good for a click and i think chitika is best alternate for those whose adsense accounts are blocked .

 

Well for instance yesterday:
41 clicks 1.71% CTR $1.03 eCPM $2.46 Earnings

So $2.46 for 41 clicks is below $0.1, it's like $0.06 but I have a very general topic, in fact many different topics, so I cannot say this is the CPC rate for this or this topic. It's just an average.

 

0.02 to 0.04 for non US traffic and silver account.

They also seem to work best in very niche type websites when placed between content like shopping sites and food sites.

 

i never got more than $0.03/click and moreover they tried to fool me by saying that my site was already in gold level but some bug in their system is showing it as silver level.
If it was in gold level, then how come CPC remain the same as when it was in silver level ?
They had no answer.
My traffic increased 2 times and about 40% is from USA.
So i removed chitika ads now and continuing only adsense

 

My CPC is some time 0.11$ sometimes 0.01$
