CPC falling

I don't know what's happening! For the last two days, I get roughly the same clicks and impressions with the CTR being only slightly lower. Yet my earnings are down 30% and the reason is that the average cpc is down 30% as well. Why is this happening? It has hit a number of channels, not just one. :(

Me earnings with adsense have been pretty stable, increasing by little every month, now they've fallen back to where they were the last month, with my traffic being a lot bigger.

Thankfully, I have another ad network that's doing well.

Any help regarding what is causing this and if it can be fixed or if I should just wait with my fingers crossed would be appreciated. :)

I've seen the same thing happen; CPM slowly moving downward. What is that other ad network you are refering too?

    Burstmedia. ;)

Only thing is, the ecpm drop was not gradual. It came all out of a sudden.

Perhaps it's the smart pricing thing, because the problem seems to be persistent!

I saw this problem from the beginning of the month. I thought I am the one having this problem.

well my issues havent been with ecpm but more or less the stats... yesterday my stats (ctr, imps, clicks) were crawling steady all day.. but the eranings were not even worth mentioning. Then as the evening progressed the earnings started to add back into the equation and matching the number of clicks and ecpm started to rise...

This has been going on like this since saturday.. I am not sure whats going on with the adsense stats, but they have been really lagging behind for the majority of the day,, matter of fact on saturday the earnings never even regsitered ,, until i checked on sunday morning and it showed the day befores stats and earnings on track.

Maybe they are really tweaking out their system for stats, or one of their hamsters that are powering the adsense stats server fell off of their wheel and died,, so they are just waiting on a new hamster to be sent in from alodredfroknicksville.. no clue,, but there are many posts and people talking about the adsense stats and earnings fluctuating for the past week or so..

Maybe it is just a glitch in the matrix

I'm seeing the same thing that millst2 is seeing - in fact I had four clicks today that earned me $0.00 (no, they weren't PSA's, I checked on that). Then I earned 1 cent from a channel that had no clicks, then my earnings went up to $0.75. Really odd stuff coming from Adsense reports right now!

well, today I saw my eCPM went back to "normal" now. I am not sure it is contributed by beginning of the month advertising, channel allocation, or glitch with adsense. I glad it is OK with me now after I removed all channel trackings.
