CPC fall in April

Hello,

I have adsense for 2 years. In the last 2 years my CPC values decreased slowly by 50%. On the other side my traffic increased a bit faster so I could accept it. (But it is not easy )

However 3 days before my CPC falls almost 50% again from one day to another. In the last 3 days I made my negative records
The site, traffic, source, clicks were not changed. The only thing is that I have accepted the Google statistic merge or what on my analytics frontpage a week ago.

I know that 3 days is not a big time frame, but still a bit irritating as I never had so bed values.

Has anybody similar experience nowadays?

I'm having the same problem... everything was right in march, but now in April things are getting worst :/

 

Yeah, I've seen the same decline in the last couple of days on my travel website. Absolutely nothing else changed, but CPC way off.

 

Same issue here. This week I've been earning about half of what I usually do; and nothing has changed with my sites or traffic.

 

i'm not seeing any diff from last month. besides, April just started, its too early to tell i think

for me it was bad starting January and continue to suck more and more.

 

March was fine for me but April seems to be low, today CPC is better so hoping to get some good money.

 

unless you have ten thousands of uv/day there is absolutely NO way to publish a statistically valid opinion on a months just after a very 2-3 days.
paydays in various countries, weekdays, holidays, school vacation ( for example now much of Europe has Easter vacation for a few WEEKS after holy week ) and many other factors as well as the ongoing global financial crisis all contribute to daily and weekly fluctuations.

for me all is as before - no major changes - no decrease!

I can confirm the same thing. 1000 clicks = 40$? They must be joking.
Google AdSense is paying less and less. It's not just Easter or Christmas...
It's 2005-2006-2007-2008... There is a clear tendency.

 

I noticed my cpc values starting to go down around March 10 which is right around the time Google shares hit their lowest in a long time at $413.

My average cpc was down about 14% overall for the last 21 days of March but traffic and ctr averages were the same as they had been for several months previously.

 

Even I noticed the trend in the beginning of March. The cpc of my sites gradually decreased by more than 50%. Is it due to recession in US and less number of people left in the adwords market?

 

I had this problem from the beginning of march.
