How do you guys reduce the cost of clicks in adwords? I have a campaign going on but it won't be profitable until I cut the cpc by half?

    what are the strategies

imho, instead of cutting your cpc, you should raise your cpc by half and then expect it to get lowered within days.:D

it always takes money to make money.

Have more relevant ads to get higher quality score and get a higher click through rate with better ads.

    Good luck

Gradually decrease it by 10% everyday. But only after you've acquired a "Great" quality score.

Once your quality score is "great" you should be able to get it for around half the price per click :)

It takes time and a lot of spend to get cheap clicks. Dont' expect to get cheap clicks with then 1 month of spending specially on a new account even if your QS is reading great. The facts are it will take a LONG time to get cheap clicks I know some of the top affiliates for CJ and they have told me many times that they have had to spend a ton to just break even then they slowly decrease their bids as time goes by.

Plus that's what we experience on our own campaigns I have one I'm putting around ~175 dollars into every day (7 days a weak) and it's still not profiting, but the CPC cost is dropping after time (a lot). Just create compelling ads and keep putting money into it over time and watch the results roll in. Once you get a campaign going and let it run for months straight you'll find out when you jump into another market it will be WAY EASIER to get going.
