CPC and Cost ? Bids of $100 in AVNAds - help !

    Hey,

I recently switched my adult publishing to AVNAds, currently we have over 190 bids for our CPC Text ad's, we have several high bids and one is of $100 for CPC (CPM is an option), obviously this wouldn't be a single bid for a click, it has two options as a header highest PPC or COST, the $100 bid is for COST.

My question is what is COST compared to PPC.

Can anyone help or explain this to me,

    Thanks
    Jason

    it's cost or max bid.
cost is ppc.you get what ever that is,minus %30 (adbrites cut).
max bid is,they bid against other advertisers.they pay one cent above the ad they out bid.
if they bid $5000 cpm they could end up paying 11¢ cpm.
bidding is for cpm,but i have a felling they started doing that for cpc ads also.
if someone clicks on a $100 ad,your not going to make $70. ;)

If avnads works the same as adbrite (Owned by the same people) then the bid cost for a sponsored ad on your site it a flat rate cost. They pay you wht the cost per day/week/month is and not per click or per thousand impressions. Only the network ads are cpc and cpm.

Yeah it's a strange set up as some Advertisers choose to only show to USA or UK and there highest bid is typically for that country, they need to make it easy to follow the bids for specific Countries also.

We run PPC or CPM depending on the availability and the maximum bid - I presume that's the case.

Just confused by the high bids 0f $5, $6 and then the $100 CPC and Cost, I would show the stats and bids images - but that may be against TOS.
