The members of staff programming the new site will be available to offer support with any matter and the server will only have a maximum of 40 other of these accounts hosted so uptime will be pretty good. Also we'll be working round the clock on our website hosted on this server so any downtime will be fixed pretty quickly. The price is expensive compared to some of the alternatives here, yes, i'll agree. As I tried to stress to you, the offer is for a server which will have much more monitoring that others. Currently we have only our own (unopened site) and one oither hosted account on the server so traffic is very low. Server is located in dallas, tx. Two 3.2GHZ intel processers, Rhel4, php 5.2.5, 2GB of ram (I think, will double check in a moment). Server has been up for 33 days (100% uptime so far)
That's what you call overselling. Don't be fooled by hosts like that, i can't believe how many people fall for that. This is actually relatively cheap, there is no better hosting then a dedicated server that isn't hosting 10000000000000 shared accounts on it (like godaddy/dreamhost/hostgator/tmz/etc). And you actually get what you pay for. Good luck with the hosting, it shouldn't be a problem selling those accounts at this price monthly once people recognize how much better it is.
Thanks very much! This is probably a bad idea to post here on DP where it's true, "spend a little get a lot" is the case. We're offering non-oversold hosting with just 40 hosted accounts yet still a staff (of 4) dedicated to this server.
