CPanel for sure. Been using it since I learned how to host my site independently. Never try plesk and most of my hosting co's used Cpanel. I think it's pretty simple and easy.
Plesk used to be light, easy to use and maintain, but now it is so heavy, I simply hate the complicated looking panel. Cpanel on the other hand looks neat and easy.
Same for me here, it looked and is so complicated, you need to be more than an engineer to operate it (I am an engineer) and I still had a ton of problems with it. For Cpanel it is really click and play.
Never tried Plesk. cPanel is what my customers demand, & its pretty good (although it is heavy). I think Lxadmin is catching up (have just seen the demo once) Thanks Ishan
Cpanel for sure. cPanel control panel is the most user friendly web hosting control panel. It's fast and allows lots of control and Fantastico is awesome.
cPanel is the leader in the web hosting control panel market, it has a nice layout and it's very friendy to the end-user. It has a lot of features like Fantastico which allows the end-user to build his own community in no time and it requires very little access to database so no query overload for you. The bad side is it eats a decent amount of RAM and it's only available for Linux systems while Plesk can be installed on both Windows and Linux. Plesk is also cheaper and less memory hungry while it's a little harder to get used to since we're all spoiled by the cPanel user friendly interface. The biggest advantage of cPanel over Plesk is that cPanel supports hosting account migration as a module which means you can move your or your client's accounts to another server with no problem at all. I would personaly choose cPanel over Plesk anytime and risk few extra bucks but it all depends how much memory you have on your VPS/Dedicated because memory usage means a lot when you have under 512Mb RAM and a lot of simultaneous visitors.
WOW I dissagree with all of you, I love plesk, of course I had 40gb space and 300gb bandwidth, all other features were unlimited I like how every domain, or sub domain was all separate. I use cpanel now though, have WAY more space now for less money both good panels
cPanel all the way! I used Pleask and hated it. I will never go back. Easy, feature filled, powerful, simply the best.
Personally, I prefer cpanel, because I feel it's easier to use. But, Plesk shared a big control panel market, and many others is using it and may enjoying it.
