cPanel to Forward Copies of Email

I just switched another site to Linux, How do I set up email forwarding through cPanel where only a copy is forwarded? In other words, I still want the original email to go to the server (which I pull down with Outlook) but I want a copy of that email to go to a gMail account.

I don't feel so bad for not being able to figure this out since it didn't get any replies.

 

You need to do it through the mailserver I think - Not cPanel.

 

Well, I guess technically I mean the mail server

For instance to do a basic forward its

cPanel ---> Mail ---> Forwarders --> Add Forwarder and then you choose the address

But I believe that forwards the original off the server rather than a copy

Correct me if I'm wrong

Set up a regular email address; then set up that user id to forward to another email address under forwarders. All done in cpanel.

 

Lol...I did some more Googling:

Apparantly the way I tried it should send a copy not diect the original. I will have to give it another crack
