cPanel is not the best method of uploading. An ftp client is superior.

Did you upload your files to public_html (where they belong), to root or some other directory?

    There's no delay...

Is it just cPanel you're new to, or the whole thing?

You may have needed to overwrite old files with the new ones... I dont remember exactly how the procedure went with cPanel, not used it in about a year..

i recommend using FTP vs. cPanel's ability to upload files. Also where did you upload your files to? What directory/folder?

Have you cleared your cache on Internet Explorer and/or Fire Fox?

Yes it is, if you know how to use it. Uploading through it though, however, sucks and I recommend FlashFXP :)

An FTP client is the only way to fly.

Nope SFTP is the only way to fly, unless you want to broadcast your log in ;)

It shouldn't have to update. It sounds like a server side problem.
