cpanel problem.

    when i open any one of my ip which set as shared (main)ip.
    it is a site not cpanel default.but a site host on it.
    how can i set the shared ip cpanel default.

    Log into WHM as root.

    In the left column, under "Server Configuration", click on the link for "Basic cPanel/WHM Setup"

    This IP should be listed in the section for "Main Shared Virtual Host IP"

    The problem is a shared IP is showing up under an account rather than the cPanel's great success message that is displayed. What you want to do is modify your httpd.conf to have a reference to htdocs before anything else references that ip. So something like this:

    Of course replacing 1.2.3.4 with the actual IP and the myserver.mydomain.com with your actual hostname. If this not good enough instructions then I really think you should look at some server management as this task is not difficult if you have some knowledge.
