hi, i was using a trial licence of cpanel untill my host registered a full version for me.

i disabled ssh because i dont really use it but now i have the full cpanel licence issued my trial has expired and when i try to login to the cpanel root it says about invalid licence file.

will cpanel try to update the licence file on a regular basis "so that it will download the full licence?"
if not, what can i do to update the cpanel licence, possibly without having to contact my host to activate my ssh again.

    cheers

Why you disabled ssh? you will need ssh for a lot of things, i dont recommend to disable it, if you want to secure your server, restrict access to ssh port to your ip.
I think cpanel update auotmatically this but i'm not sure on your situation that you have been using a trial license before, i think best solution is to contact your host to activate ssh.

Widout shell you dont have root access to server softwares like cpanel would obviously require u to have root access to server to modify anything cant do much widout ssh

Either contact your datacenter as said above or contact cpanel directly and they should be able to sort your issue

You will need ssh access if you would like to update your cpanel license and even run the verification script built into it. You will need to contact whoever is hosting your server to re-enable the ssh access before you can continue.
