CPanel email account setup

Let's say I have domain.com and for corrispondence.
Let's also say I want to give an email account to my friend (myfriend@domain.com), but want to make sure he can access his email account without being able to access anything else.

How would I go about that in CPanel?

    Thanks!

    :)

Have him use myemail.com or mail2web.com

I'm not so sure I understand what you mean, but let me clarify.

    I have DOMAIN.COM

I want to allow someone to use an email which is based on the above, for example:

Is there a way i can do that safely through CPanel or do I need some special whatever to achieve that?

    Thanks!

Sorry if I doubt that it doesn't solve the problem the way I wanted.

Does that mean that there isn't a way?

I am not looking for alternatives, only if and how it can be done the way I wanted.

    Thanks for any help!

    :)

nope, then he will have to need your CPanel access, i have a better idea, ask your host :p they might have a way, cause in mine there is no way, and I am using Hostgator.

    OK, thanks Knight!

    I prob won't, it's not that critical.

But I wonder how companies assign emails to their staff...

You setup the email accounts on your domain for your "staff" through cpanel. Your "staff" then can check/send emails using an online webmail service like myemail.com or mail2web.com or their email software on their computer. I see absolutely no reason to give your users access to your cpanel just so they can use their email account.

    Hold on, maybe I misunderstood.

I don't want to give them access to CPanel, that's the whole point.

And I thought that those services were the typical free email ones, sorry.

I'll look into them, since it sounds different now.

    Thanks!
