Cpanel bug about sql password

    Hello

    On cpanel 11.28.69 is a fix:

    Fixed case 45682: setting a mysql password with special characters and no quotes causes mysql to restart every 5 minutes and login failures
    Code (markup):
    Does anyone knows if it is only for the sql root password that i can set from whm or for the sql database that a user can create?

    Is there any way to fix it as the update is not avaliable yet for the Release cpanel updates?

    Can i use letters and numbers as password only to avoid this problem?

    I am on 11.28.64.

    You should try with numbers and letter only. BTW, how can u say that this is a bug? Did you see a bug report on cpanel.net?
