    Im looking for a control panel for my users to manage subdomains/domains/ftp accounts with maybe a file manager or anything similar

    any free or almost-free alternatives out there?

    i've found VHCS so far, but thats all

    Webmin is lots of fun. They have two; webmin and another one which I forget the name of. The two can work together. I haven't used it in a while; just watch for security holes. I used webmin on my very first server, because the control panel it came with was less than user friendly for your basic user.

    Virtualmin is also great. It's like webmin, but more suited towards web hosting in general, instead of system administration. Another cpanel alternative is EHCP.
