There are many methods inclusing the tv/movie types already mentioned but obviously these will get saturated in time and you need to think outside the box. Build a site with great content or photos (about celebs or similar high interest) and show some really good pages as an enticer - then when they click to see another page, you guessed it - they need to take a survey. By this time they will do anything to get to the rest of the content. Remember, don't give too much away, just enough to get them interested.
