As the title states I can't for the life on me get the CPA Lead verify process to complete. It says can't find the meta tag or the html no matter what I do. I am by no means a beginner to website making so this really is frustrating. I have added the meta tag correctly in the head and before the first <body> line I have tried uploading the html file provided and still no verification. Some things that might be affecting this are: I have a webserver which I pay for and have FULL editing/upload rights to and have already gotten adsense to work no problem on the webserver. the website I am attempting to add the CPAlead verification to is NOT in the root directory but rather another website in a separate folder within the server. I uploaded the html to that other folder and NOT the main root folder. Is this the problem? I also did NOT edit the root directory index.html with the meta tag, but rather the other website's index.html I entered the correct web url in the CPAlead sign up form for the website I want the CPAlead to work on (this is NOT the main root index.html but the other directory) The url I entered to be verified shows the uploaded html and when I point my browser to it it loads correctly and says that the "JFAJOAEfjajo280984080123jlj.html" type verification page is loaded correctly in my browser, but still it won't verify it. Saying it can't be found. I would really like to get this to work and I can post my html code if you would like just ask. Can this only be verified through the root directory of my actual webserver? and if I verify it through that webpage index.html can I then add it to the webpage I really want to use it on or am I stuck not being able to use CPAlead because I have multiple domains on my webserver? I would like to use the affiliate program on more than one website and I don't see why it is not working. Please help! thanks!
