CPALead Gateway - New Version with Close Button

I don't know why this happened, CPA Lead stuff told me that none of their publishers reported this problem.

What happened is that my Wordpress installation .php files were stuffed with malware and porn links. Also, my gallery picture folders were also filed with the same links, some were even catched by yahoo as single posts ; example " Some TV star undressed".

I cleared everything, contacted Google and everything is OK now.

Anyway, I think that CPA Lead is good company, and I believe that this was not their intention, I even don't know that their code caused it.

My site is established one, PR4, thousands page views/day and this happened after 1 hour I installed CPA Lead code for the first time. During that time, I haven't installed any plugins, themes or whatsoever.

I will use them on my never sites ( for starts ), where risk is not that big because I like them. I even earned 2$ within that 1 hour

 

I have that too, but that is only when you click Close and you don't want 20 seconds

I believe ppl use sidereel to make money, sign ups or something or views, I've seen some other threads about it on other sites.

 

It's working well for me now, I made 0.29$ in past couple of days and already 0.41$ today and I guess its still day on U.S, so hope to get some more leads. Due to some issues on my side in the past few days, I just haven't been able to promote it as I wanted to, but once all issues have been solved, I'll start working really hard on it and try reaching about ~5$-10$/day per site. I don't think its going to be that hard at all, it just needs some time.

The new gateway is definitely not allowed in SideReel as I found out the hard way While according to SRs link adding policy, the non-forced gateway should be fine, they deleted over 2000 of my links which had the non-forced CPALead gateway without warning.

 

All my links have started being deleted aswell. So im laying low for a bit. Only adding episodes as need be and watching them get deleted.

However i just put a non forced gateway on and we shall see how it goes. At the very least they should last alot longer. I wish we could have a definite answer from sidereel and atleast they should alert the main link deleters of it.

Its not even content admin who deleted the links. its other fagnuts who delete them. I dont see the big deal in anycase. Some episodes have 50+ links for it, you would think if people dont want zango or cpalead to effect them why cant they just go to a diff place. Spamming links is a diff story, but just offering a perfectly working video for something is fine in my mind.

Its almost like a google search. I search for a free program without signing up. The first couple of results may require me to enter my email address etc. IN which case i go back to the search and find a different one. But i dont go about hassling those sites.

 

I had a chat with them few days ago, they've clearly said they will not allow CPALead with or without the forced gateway, as too many complaints were received. I'll not support Zango, the problem with sidereel is caused by them. People tend to see Zango 'adware/spyware' alerts all around; they just can't make the difference between CPALead and Zango. Sidereel, for obvious reason, won't go against something that their visitors don't like. For example, 1) There's an offer in CPALead (some toolbar), which some antivirus detect as spyware, and for non-tech savvy, whatever the anti-virus says is gotta be true. 2) Sidereel said people are not 'ok' with giving away personal information (name, address etc) just to watch some videos.

You may have all the video working, not everyone do the same. They just add the gateway, get some working videos and forget. I, as viewer, would be so pissed to fill all the survey to find out that video has been already deleted. Think this way; you don't have any other choice anyway.

You could perhaps link to a page which doesn't have a CPALead gateway, on the same page have a link to the main page where CPALead gateway is used. I'm not sure what would be the conversion rate though, also depends on how exactly you attract to the link. Use some pop-up or whatever network is allowed and converts well on the video page. But, to be honest, it's too much work for so less.

 

DarkX that is true. The other way while adding my links after somebody once again deleted. I was reading the comments, people were telling others not to fill out any surveys because its just "virus crap and will infect your computer". It is all down to zango really, When a popup comes, you know that it probably is bad.

I cant understand why not the passive gateway however. There is a close button. And the only reason they would fill out a survey is to get rid of the annoyance. Which ones they know your site is good for it. They may aswell.

The thing is that i have NEVER had my links deleted by content admin. Only by web sheriffs on sidereel who have nothing else to do all day.

 

You don't have to use sidereel though. Just use other companies like megavideo.

my performance has been like crap also the past few days, I guess they are lacking some good converting offers

 

Mine has been abysmal lately, but it has been decent today as I had more traffic than usual.

 

the version with close button definitely will decrease the revenue from this program.. so I preferred without the close button but the suggestion on give the timing before the gateway is good..

 

I don't use the close button. My traffic yesterday was slightly higher than the day before but my earning was about 50% lower. It's even starting to look worse today. If this trend continues I might consider going back to zango.

 

I just wish CPALead would stop pushing new non-performing surveys to the top and allow what converts best to run.....

Stick the new surveys into rotation at 10% of the rate the best surveys are running......

Why should I lose money in order for an advertiser to test their product???

Let the advertiser prove their offer converts well... then add them in slowly.....

 

Sounds like a good idea. Does anybody know how CPALead earn their keep? do they also earn by lead and just payout a certain % to us publishers? who sets the payouts published by cpalead? cpalead or the advertiser?

what is the relationship of cpalead to the advertiser? are they just affiliates just like us and we just share the earnings?
