Just so you guys know, reversals come in when there is fake information submitted by your users. This happens, some people just put in fake information into these surveys to bypass the Gateway.

Now, some advertisers take this as a loss, some advertisers do not want to take this loss and they force us to take the loss for them. In cases like this, we will stop working with this particular advertiser and find a more reliable one that will take the loss as a cost of doing business with us. Most networks will not reverse on us simply because they love our traffic and they do not want to jeopardize their relationship with us.

When reversals happen due to an advertiser unwilling to pay us for an amount of leads, we update your account with a reversal report of the leads that were reversed by this advertiser. This is called a "reversal". It's transparent, and it's a reality of the incentive CPA business. Reversals rarely happen and they are usually for very small amounts and are shown in your publisher panel. This is not called "shaving leads". Shaving leads is when CPA networks remove leads or do not report leads to their clients, that the network themselves were paid for. This is a practice we do not take part in and I find anyone who makes these claims or confuses "reversals" with "shaving" to be slanderous to our company's name and such language is actionable.

I cant even press anything on that gateway. He had a few seconds delay on the thingy so i pressed to see if he had any eps, and no, no family guy eps available, but so what? there may have been at one point and he's just to busy to get it up?

He may even have had content but embeds/links to copyrighted matherial tends to get removed from free blog sites like that!(happened to me several times )

 

lol well I doubt they dude has yet to make a conversion off that site. Now that you listed his site in this thread, his account will most likely be banned by tomorrow

This guy even try to cheat the visitor with a static image look like a player. But view the web's source or disable Javascript, you will see the fact. Tried to report to CPALead few sites, but nothing happen. These accounts are still active for a longtime.

 

I reported that site a while back as well.

 

A lot of people are doing that ATM seems to work pretty good but you have to have no moral standards to do it. I will never do something like that.

 

I don't like these kind of actions.. It's a quick and run method, but it doesn't work for the long term..

 

Yeah. I agree with you guys. Everyone should provide the visitors what you have promised.

 

I just noticed that you guys changed the mobile phone stats page. I like how it is updated now with the monthly and alltime stats as well as the usual daily...only thing is...my monthly stats are way off. You can give me the extra $600 if you want though .

 

Monthly Stats were stats of last 30 days ..
Now edited to this month stats ..
I suggest adding conversion rate for the three boxes

I was happy to see the new mobile phone stats as well. Any way you can also include the money + referral moneys? Mine are significant and I like to see where my totals are including referral money, like I do when I log in on cpalead.com.

and he keeps saying that running a site like that wont get them banned as publishers, could you go and explain how that stuff works over there? or better yet, disable the gateway on his site(it's been reported several times).

I hate guys like these..

How to protect a category in wordpress and sections in forums using cpalead gateway?

 

Just wanted to suggest a couple of things:

1) In step 3 of creating our gateway, we have to enter "Banner Text" and "Instruction Text". If we leave both of these fields blank then the default wording for both fields is displayed. I am making custom gateway designs for my site and want to add fancy text and instructions right into my gateway image file. In doing so, I will be leaving these two fields blank which currently is a problem as the default text shows up. I would suggest that this default text not show up so we can have more flexibility in our design creations.

2) When creating custom designs, I may make the position of surveys a bit down or right or left depending on the design. I would suggest that we should have the ability to position where the surveys are placed on our gateway. Maybe just two lines such as how many pixels down from the top and how many pixels from the left would be ideal!

3) Also, I noticed the update to the mobile page. Could you add the stats for Yesterday as well since that would be quite helpful.

I hope you take these suggestions into consideration. It would definitely make designing custom gateways much easier and flexible.

If you would like to add it to wordpress I suggest using a plug-in such as the "Add Your Own Headers" plug-in by uberdose. This allows you to simply copy paste your javascript CPAlead code into the page of your choice and it will automatically only show on that page or post.

Your second question regarding forum sections all depends on your current forum package. Are you using phpbb? Vbulletin? etc. This will help to answer your question in more details. In my case, I am using PHPbb forums and I added the following code to my overall_header file:

Code (markup):

This code tells the script to check if the FORUM ID is equal to 7, which in my case is a certain VIP forum section. Anytime someone goes into that forum or even goes to a post directly that happens to be within that forum, the Gateway will pop-up.
