It's amazing how CPALead is down every weekend - losing money for it's hardworking affiliates.
Simply disgusting.

 

For my Canadian traffic 800 clicks only 15 leads

Looks like managers do not respond as they have nothing to say.

They will probably respond and say they are sorry or something and cpm banner has been removed to please publisher when they collect enough money.

They will response at Monday, because today is Sunday and they don't work. Whatever, I still love CPALead so much. My ratio is still 20% as normal

 

Thats most likely a pop up/under, they often give trojans like that

Wont be till monday. They stick the ad on, then leave over the weekend. Collect their winnings on monday.

I thought you guys would appreciate the reversal alternative and giving us a way to pay our programmers through these hard times for tools you all use.

I would like to clear something up. We make less than a 10% commission off each and every one of you. Out of that 10%, we have plenty of employees to pay, servers to keep up, and other reversals that are not mentioned to pay for. There is a reason why we have the best tools available - it's because we invest into these tools and we allow everyone to use them for free for a small commission. So at the end of the month, there isn't much money left over to pay ourselves. So when we get a reversal that WE take the hit on (the full 100%), you have to imagine how much that hurts, not to mention the legal fees.

I thought you guys would appreciate the banner ad versus receiving a reversal (which doesn't come close to covering the reversal). I was wrong. Next time we'll rule out that option.

Those top converting quizzes are only $0.45 per lead at cpalead. One network just added a couple of those and pays $0.90 per lead- This network is well known. A few smaller networks pay $0.70 per lead. Yes, they are incentived too.

If you really are only taking 10%, then it's time to find a new network or have them up your rates.

There are a couple of offers on cpalead with decent rates, so thanks for that.

 

I, for one, would much rather you put a banner on there than do a reversal. Just my opinion, though.

With this advertiser, we're getting more than double the conversion rate than the other networks you mentioned.

Put it simply this way. Would you rather have an offer that pays out 90 cents and converts at 10% or one that pays out at 45 cents and converts at 25%?

We can get this offer modified so we have a $2 payout. But the advertiser will drop the conversion rate to 5% or lower. So don't allow yourself to be blinded by the payout, that is only half of the equation.

We personally opted for the 45 cent payout with a 25% conversion rate on this offer as it makes more of your end users happier when the Gateway unlocks twice as often as it normally would with this survey.

Keep this in mind if you are dealing with other CPA networks and you're asking for higher payouts. Any CPA Network will be happy to match someone's payout or increase you current payout you're getting, but best believe they will be scrubbing you more often. I can truthfully tell you, we do not scrub. We don't have to scrub as we strive on making your conversion rates higher and your end users happier so they return... we believe there is no longevity in scrubbing, other networks damn near live by scrubbing.

We think of it this way. You can rob a friend and steal $25 from them, they'll be mad and will never be your friend again and they'll tell all of your friends to watch out for you. Or you can simply be fair with them, be transparent, in hopes for sharing a business with them for longevity.

 

Troy i think the problem with the banner was the fact that it lowered conversions throughout the weekend. Although we can never be certain and it was a good thing it opened in a new window, i think having a big unsightly ad across your gateway would most certainly harm conversions. It also confuses the hell out of people on what to do on your gateway.

I can understand your reasoning for putting it there, and for sure gotta recoup the reversal. But dare i say it, i think adding the banner would have put you even more into the red. With the lower conversion rates over the weekend from having it there.

 

I can still see the CPM ad on my site? Till when is it going to stay there?

Are you being honest about that.

Because I know we can find the exact offers on CPALead on other CPA networks and they usually pay double what we receive on CPALead. I'm not complaining that don't get paid enough because I rather give 50% to you guys and get a higher conversion rate but it seem's a bit of a shame that you guys aren't 100% honest with your affiliates. I appreciate that you guys are trying to make up for the lost leads, but then again you have 10k publishers and you only mentioned the problem on this thread and probably only 10% know what is going on.
