I suspect that they took away that option as everyone was only selecting high paying surveys leading to complaints of poor take up rate by low payout advertisers.

So you can't choose any of the offers now on the gateway, you are at the mercy of whatever shows up?

We took away the option because too many people were disabling the higher converting surveys and just picking high paying surveys regardless of their conversion rates, leading to overall low earnings for that publishers enabling them to say we are to blame for their lower earnings. In the CPA Industry, payouts are important, but conversion rates are even more important. We will have an option soon that will allow you to sort by EPC if you so wish.

Today has been TERRIBLE for both myself and my friends (three of them) whom I know IRL. The changes that were made, where I'm now having to display surveys from groups I don't want to, are hurting me. My traffic is worth more than the epc I got today and yesterday -- this needs to be changed. I'm one of the biggest promoters on this board and in real life of CPALead, but I honestly can't stick around if I have a drop in conversion the way I did today for much longer.

People were disabling surveys that were low-paying, and I understand the long-term impact this could have on cpalead. However, I always went through and disabled surveys that had terrible click through percentages -- anything below a particular percentage that I deemed appropriate -- and because of that, I've made considerable gains over the past weeks, with similar traffic. This change has destroyed that customization that I made for the worse, and has really deteriorated the quality (to me) of the traffic coming to my site.

If people don't want to have certain surveys displayed because a) they are low-paying and/or b) they are low-converting, this isn't the problem of the publishers/affiliates -- it's the problem of the advertisers. The marketing and advertising world works the way every other market does: if you want more attention, you pay more. If people don't want to promote a survey that pays $.30 for every 10 people who click through on it, whose fault is that? It's up to the advertiser to entice us, the publishers of their advertisements, to actually display their stuff. In the case right now, though, with the new change, we website owners have no choice or voice: we're forced into complying with and displaying advertisements for partners that we may not, for one reason or another, agree with.

I just can't look at my stats and see this kind of thing without being very bothered. Please address it asap, Troy.

oh this will waste our traffic and decrease our earning.. the higher converting survey normally only pay $0.19 - $0.38 only... Troy, I hope they will pay higher at least above $0.75. thanks.

100% agree with jehnidiah. I personally won't waste my traffic and clicks promoting advertisers with poor converting ads and surveys. It simply doesn't make any sense.

Today my websites were laterally giving away free advertising to these with low converting advertisers.

Jenidiah is right. Traffic is precious to me. If I'm going to irritate people with the gateways, it better be worth the payout.

    Dear Troy,

I really understand that but I think that option only good for movie website, they only need to link to megaupload or any video hosting site. My website is a download website. 1 visitors can waste upto 1GB - 3GB. Is $0.38 survey is worth for me and my bandwidth?? obviously not.

Also theres will be moral issue here. Some survey like alcohol, cigar and gambling is not good for some my visitors.

I hope CPAlead can put back the disable survey option.

    Thanks

My conversion ratio has dropped from 12% to 5% for the last couple of days since we havent been able to disable surveys. And the surveys are lower paying. The "Want Free Groceries?" survey has the most clicks out of all my surveys and not one lead. I think Cpalead should change back to how it was before.

I completely 100% back what Jehnidiah has said. In any other business the higher paying customer always wins. It is just common sense. In any capitalistic market, that's how it will work.

As to the reasoning for this change, I don't buy it. If a publisher has done something to hurt his own earnings then he should take it upon himself to fix what he has done wrong. Again, in any other business this is how it works. If a company selling bread is not making money, they would change things to make it work. They would not complain to the people who are supplying the wheat. So CPAlead, I don't believe your reasoning makes any sense.

I have only been with CPAlead for 2 weeks. I discovered the survey disable feature about a week ago and watched an exponential increase in my earnings. I am a very determined person and I would really like to see CPAlead turn the feature back on so I don't have to find another company to advertise with.

Totally agreed with others, please bring the disabling surveys feature back. I'd also like to see the conversation % and EPC thing on right side of the surveys, it shows which surveys are converting good and the EPC.
