I think you're probably right about the CPALead feed overhead and CSV. XML is just so common now that I've gotten used to dealing with it, I never really checked out the CSV when I started messing with these feeds.

I like XML, it has a place in data transaction and a lot of other places. Like any SGML it gets a bit wordy but when it's computer-to-computer it's not a big hassle for me and it's nice to have readable ascii over shuffling binary data around all the time when you have to troubleshoot.

can it be that conversion ratios are calculated on a monthly base?

because today i got a lot of clicks but almost no conversions, and YES my traffic is constant.

you can use the ip-bypassing feature to hide the widget form your own browser.

Why would you want to hide the widget?

That's what the IP bypass is for. Technically if you don't want to use that you can do an If else statement to make the code dynamically display based on your user id or permissions or something.

Anyone here can let me know how i can set up a proper ad campaign with Adwords and CpaLead surveys?
I got a domain from godaddy and set it up with simple forward to my desired CPALead offer and when i type my domain it correctly redirects to the desired CPAlead offer.

The problem is that with Adwords my campaign gets dissaprooved due to "Inaccurate display URL"
Anyone can share with me how to get around that?

Can i do it with any sort of redirect or forward and how to do it?
Or i will need to make a landing page and have links to my desired survey in that landing page?

Click on widgets in when you are logged into cpalead.

    Click on widgets tab

You will be presented with 7 options. One of them is global ip bypass. Click that and your IP will show up. copy and paste you url into the box and click add.

Here is a neat trick for those of you who are scared of google with the widget paste the google bot ip addresses into the global bypass feature on your settings. Then the bot that scrapes your site will always get past the widget.

I done with with all search engines bot ip addresses and traffic increased over night.

The widget doesn't stop google from seeing your content, googlebot doesn't run the javascript. Google may or may not recognize the CPALead script as a content gateway (they aren't telling), but it doesn't stop them from seeing the content. They may or may not hold it against your ranking in the SERPs (they aren't telling).

Sadly, since I would love some real stats on this, any evidence either way is anecdotal. However,

That's a neat trick, it has a name, it's called cloaking.

Cloaking is the practice of presenting one web page to a search engine and another page to a user based on user agent or IP. Google actually has some advice on the topic:

    http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66355

Everybody makes their own decisions, but you should know what the options mean.

Please PM me the URL, along with which version of IE, so that we may try and reproduce this to see if its something to do with the site design or the widget itself.

    Sure:

    1. All email addresses that are being collected in surveys are being collected with the user's consent and the affiliates are complying with the CAN SPAM Act of 2003 (no soliciting emails, no selling of email addresses).

    2. You are responsible for paying the costs of any fees for court hearings and the such in the event of a hearing between you and CPALead.

    3. I think that means that any exclusive/individual agreements you have with CPALead are included in the terms (I'm not sure though).

    4. You are nothing more than an Advertiser (Independent Contractor) of CPALead - you are not an employee, agent, or affiliate.

I'm assuming you are going to be a publisher? If so, #1 doesn't apply to you and the other three are just standard sections of the Terms in just about every ToS to help cover the company's possible liabilities.

Since nobody helped me out with my CPALead FireFox Plugin issues, I figured it out myself: It will not work if your password has symbols in it.
