Our conversion rates reset every day at 12:00AM Central Time. So at 12:00AM - 4:00AM, you may see below average conversion rates.

We do this to start the recalculation of the conversion rates from a clean start. As you may know, conversion rates fluctuate daily, so if we didn't reset the stats at one point, surveys that are on the bottom the previous day, may never get a chance to make it to the top when they start converting better.

Also, we have not had ANY downtime this weekend. Everything has been running perfect since we fixed our database servers.

This week we will focus back on adding in more higher converting offers.

I do know about the conversation rates being reset at midnight. I posted on 6:30 AM Central Time, when the conversation rates normally show. Anyway, seems like it has been fixed already.

my suggestion: use 10-15% of gateway gateway calls distributed (randomly) to all offers independent of conversion rates or enable status. and do this throughout the day. this way all offers will have a chance to get to the top throughout the day and there would be no need to reset at midnight.

advantage is that the highest converting offers are not unduly penalized at midnight and the other offers are able to get to the top at any time.

 

Why not just give it a hour or so to get some basic conversion data, at least for the first update of the day? This way we don't lose so much revenue, especially if our traffic is outside of the US.

 

Because new offers that convert very well or existing offers that suddenly convert well will have to wait till midnight before they have a chance to rank high just like it is now. the issue really should be how much should be used to test all offers. I suggested 10-15%. I don't know whether this is the right number but I suspect lost revenue from this is much less than any other method. so the debate should be what number it should be.

This week, we will be changing our conversion rate formula so it does not reset at midnight. We can just figure out the conversion rate of the other offers through our Active Survey Display tool which many of our online game publisher's use.

The week after, you will be finally seeing changes to the Gateway... Changes that are long over due that we now have the capacity to complete. We have a big laundry list of suggestions (around 100 unique suggestions) to sort through but first, we will change the midnight conversion reset and add the option to set a limit to how long a user can access your site before they have to complete another survey.

I was just about to post this. To use the ADT. But the thing is, you cant decide the top offers solely on ADT, and yet if you dont give ADT percentages some kind of boost it wont really make a difference to how it is now.

PeoplesArcade - The ASD tool displays all of our surveys to the end users. There are some users who try to complete all surveys in our system. These are usually game players that are very familiar with filling out surveys and can make any survey that converts... convert. If a survey is a dud, it will remain at the bottom of the list. If they can get it to convert, it will find its way to the top. There are also users who have already filled out all of our surveys and wait around for more surveys to enter our system... So basically, users from online games, will be testing the quality of these surveys, for your Gateway users.

The conversion rate of each survey will still be calculated for the last 5 hours, so it's safe to say that any survey that no longer converts, will be removed.... and any survey that starts to convert, will climb to the top.

 

CPALead seems to be back now. I've been getting 10%+ conversation rates for the past few days, so I guess all the leads are counting. Thanks a lot guys!

Yeah i gather that. Its like super rewards on facebook. People know how to fill them out like crazy But what i was leaning towards that there was a TONNE more gateway users. So that ASD conversion rates kind of get watered down when they are mixed with gateway converting rates.

So either you go JUST from ASD rates, which is not a bad idea at all. But like you say there will be something like 10 surveys sitting at the top pretty close because they will be able to fill them out like crazy.

Or you give the conversion rates from the ASD some type of priority. OR (just thought of this) you work out the conversion rates from the ASD , then work out the rates from the gateway, then do the average between the two. Although for obvious reasons the top 3 on the gateway will be miles apart from the rest.

PeoplesArcade - Tonight, the conversion rates should not reset. Our new programming team works really fast and we have them dedicated purely to the Gateway tool now. Expect to see more positive changes like this.

 

I dont doubt that your onto it. But i just wanna know how its going to be done. Not to complain. More that im just purely curious and interested the goings on. CPALead really seem to be the only CPA Company that is actively posting here explaining things so why not delve more into the minds of the affiliate companys

 

Well, we had a script that queried the last 5 hours, but only for the current day. So when 12:00AM struck, it ran out of hours to sample, so all conversion rates went to 0%.

Now when 12:00AM strikes, we will query leads and clicks for 7PM, 8PM, 9PM, 10PM, 11PM to determine the conversion rate for the 12:00AM hour. When it's 1:00AM, we will query 8PM, 9PM, 10PM, 11PM, 12AM.

I don't know if this is the explanation you were looking for, but this is the best way I could describe it. Hope this clears things up for you lol

Just read that on the site. F-ing pain in the ass to the third degree. Like REALLY pain in the neck. No warning either. I was thinking today usually they seem to be pretty onto it with payments but tomo being the 31st i doubted whether we would be paid on time.

 

Sorry about the delayed payment, but we are trying to make it up to you guys by paying you early for December's earnings on January 20th. We promise to not let this happen again, you can have my word on this.

This is the first time we have ever been late and it's out of our control and is strictly due to our PayPal account. Checks and ACH's will be sent out on time.

PayPal users: Since we are 10 days late for November's Payment, we will pay you 11 days early for December's payment. Think of it this way, you will have both payments by January 20th, instead of having both payments by January 31st.
